Are you ready for a cultural adventure?
2015 I had the best six months of my life at the College of Charleston. During my semester abroad I learned a lot about America but also about me. At the very first day at college, I met a boy. He told me he is very interested in other cultures and can show me the area. Since that day my life is German-American because this boy is my husband now. Last year I moved permanently from Germany to America.
Every day I experience small (or even large!) culture shocks/learnings. It is the biggest adventure of my life. I am not only learning about the American culture but also about my own. My blog provides insight into my German-American everyday life in Charleston. Maybe you are also from Germany living in the US, or an American who is interested in other cultures ;). Either way, I am happy to share my experience with you!
Furthermore, I would like to inspire others to live life to the fullest and go for their dreams and goals.
I live my life true the motto: “Follow your heart but take your brain with you!”
Enjoy the ride! 😉
Note: This has nothing to do with the Podcast This American Life. My American friends asked me about it. But I have never heard of it.
